Course Objectives
The aim of the course is to make the students understand that, sports is not just only executing physical performance but also there are other technical and technological factors effecting this performance.
Course Description
Sports science, engineering and technology • Materials in sports • Sports textile • Sports nutrition • Technology in training and sports • Informational Technologies in sports • Contemporary issues in sports medicine • Athlete health, performance and drug use • Sports economics
Course Outcomes
Bu dersi başarıyla tamamlayan öğrenciler;
1. Spor temel kavramları ve Olimpiyatlar hakkında bilgi sahibi olurlar,
2. Spor sağlık ve antrenman kavramlarını öğrenerek spor da fiziksel uygunluk komponentleri hakkında bilgi sahibi olurlar,
3. Spor bilimlerinin multidisipliner çalışma alanları, mühendislik ve teknoloji ile olan ilişkisi hakkında genel değerlendirme yapabilirler,
4. Sporda modern teknolojinin rolü hakkındaki etik / hakemliği tartışır ve teknolojinin spor performansını nasıl etkilediği konusunda dengeli bir analiz yapabilirler,
5. Teknolojinin, sporun ve egzersizin izlenmesi ve pazarlanmasının hangi yollarla nasıl değiştirdiğini eleştirel bir tavırla değerlendirebilirler,
6. Sporda inovasyon açısından mühendislik bilgisi ve teknolojik uygulamaların öneminin kavranması beklenmektedir.
