Course Objectives		The main purpose of this curse is to give the undergraduate students some basic data analysis techniques with their applications. At the end of this course, students will learn how to handle the data set at hand in detail.
Course Description		Summarization of Data, Exploratory Data Analysis, Regression Analysis, Time Series Analysis (Time Domain), Time Series Analysis (Frequency Domain), Smoothing Techniques, Trend Analysis, Homogeneity Analysis.
Course Outcomes		To be able to use all kind of mean level indicators such as type I, II and III means. 2. To be able to draw a histogram of a given data set. 3. To study the relationship between two or more variables by using graphical and non-graphical methods. 4. Having the ability to construct the regression equation and testing the regression coefficients. 5. To be able to use the regression equation in estimation and missing data recovery. 6. To be able to draw a time series and investigation of its behavior in time domain by autocorrelation analysis. 7. Having the ability to perform the represantation of a time series by harmonics waves. 8. Having the ability to construct the power spectrum of a time series. 9. To be able to perform smoothing procedures on a time series. 10. To be able to perform homogeneity and trend analyses on a time series.
