Course Objectives
To convey the basic subjects of atmospheric sciences;
To introduce the principles of the atmosphere.
Course Description
Understanding the Earth’s Atmosphere and its mechanisms; learning the basic factors like heat and temperature, moisture, pressure and stability and determining the meteorological factors occurring as a result, like fog, precipitation, wind and etc.; examining the clouds and their characteristics; learning the forces in the atmosphere and their mechanisms; determining the jet streams, air masses, fronts, Highs and Lows; learning the mid-latitude cyclones, general circulation, thunderstorms and lightning; weather forecasting.
