Course Objectives

The objective of the course is to provide the students of aerospace engineering with the fundamental understanding of laws of motions of celestial bodies and orbital vehicles and give information on the applications of these laws.

Course Description

Dynamics of Point Masses, Two-Body Problem, Orbital Positions as a Function of Time, Orbits in Three Dimensions, Preliminary Orbit Determination, Orbital Maneuvers, Interplanetary Trajectories.
