Course Objectives 1. To give an understanding of the kinematics of industrial robots.
2. To elaborate the mathematical models of industrial robots.
3. To emphasize the effect of robot dinamics onto robot control.
Course Description Human/Robot considerations. Classification of robots. Concepts of industrial robotics. Kinematics, representation of coordinate systems, transformations, links and joints, geometry related modeling of robots. Denavit-Hartenberg representation. Robot dynamics, the application of Lagrange dynamical analysis to different robots.
