Course Objectives
Climate change is a global problem which affects natural and socioeconomic systems. During this class, students will be introduced to the topics how climate system works, natural and antropogenic causes of climate change and work on basic climate change scenarios.
Course Description
Introduction: Climate change and variability-past, present and future, Energy flows, hydrological cycle, carbon, sulphur and nitrogen cycles, biogeochemical cycles, natural and antropoenic climate cahnge, emission sources and inventories of GHGs, observed changes in climate system, future projections and simple climate models.
