Course Objectives
1. To introduce the concept of responsible care and to provide information on the importance of health, environment and safety issues in chemical engineering applications.
2. To give students an awareness in professional and ethical responsibility.
3. To provide information on oral and written presentation techniques and experience in written and communication
4. To provide knowledge on popular sciences by team work project
Course Description
Introduction to the chemical engineering profession and education, Learning
styles, Responsible care, Oral and written presentation techniques, Ethics,
Structure of the chemical process industry.
Course Outcomes
Student, who succeeds the course satisfactorily can:
1. Demonstrate knowledge on, environment, health and safety issues in
chemical engineering.
2. Demonstrate knowledge on professional and ethical responsibility.
3. Write reports and give oral presentations.
4. Demonstrate knowledge on contemporary issues by team work.
