Course Description		Basic concepts of Mendelian genetics; chromosom theory in heredity; structure and function of genes; gene expression and its regulation; mutations and chromosomal defects; genetics and biotechnology
Course Outcomes		I. To understand the main concepts of genetics II. To be able to differentiate different modes of inheritance patterns, III. To be able identify human chromosomes and learn their abnormalites IV. To be able understand the basics of genetic mutations and polymorphisms, V.
