Course Objectives
I. Understand basic concepts of genetics,
II. Differentiate between different modes of inheritance,
III. Understand basics of meiosis and linkage,
IV. Learn chromosomes, chromosomal inheritance and its mistakes
V. Solve genetic problems and quantitative population genetics
VI. Grasp genetics application such as biotechnology and genetic counseling
VII. Learn the concept of evolutionary genetics
VIII. Understand the ethical issues in the science of genetics

This course gives a basic understanding of genetics and its concepts.
