Course Objectives
1.To provide experience in application of Transport Phenomena and Chemical Reaction Kinetics knowledge through experiments
2. To train students to design and carry out experiments
3. To provide experience in obtaining and analyzing experimental data
4. To provide practice in preparing writing reports and giving oral presentations in
Turkish and English
5. To develop a conscience for health and safety in Chemical Engineering Laboratory
Course Description
Practising Chemical Engineering experiments such as Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Mass Transfer and Chemical Reaction Kinetics
Course Outcomes
Student, who passed the course satisfactorily can:
1. Practicing Transport Phenomena and Chemical Reaction Kinetics knowledge
2. Design and conduct experiments and analyze data
3. An ability to evaluate experimental data by using modern engineering tools and
methods
4. An ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing in Turkish and English
5. Working in the laboratory by caring health, safety and environmental issues
