Course Objectives
1. To be capable of doing RF analysis of transmissionlines; applications of impedencematching, Smith
chartusage; principles of circuitanalysiswith S-parameters;
2. Togetbasicknowledgeaboutmicrowavesystems; toexaminethemethods on analysisanddesign of
microwavesystemswithcomputersimulations
Course Description
Currentandvoltagewaves in TEM modetransmissionlines, frequencyand time domain analysis,
powerandenergyflow, impedancematching. Smith Chart, microstrip lines, pulsetransmission on lines. Basic
principles of circuitanalysisby S parameters.
Course Outcomes
I. Mikrodalga frekanslarında kullanılan temel devre ve alt sistemlerin analizi ve sentezi için kullanılan
yöntemleri bilir,
