Course Coordinator Salih Barış Öztürk
Course Objectives 1) Determining the performance of basic power electronics circuit structures under real operating conditions by realizing them in a laboratory environment,
2) To set up experiments and to use test equipment to measure the desired parameters,
3) Creating the test report by interpreting the data obtained from the test results.
Course Description Experimental groups consisting of a maximum of four students will perform the experiments under the supervision of the laboratory assistant. Students will gain experience in setting up experimental setups and performing standard tests on different power electronics circuits such as rectifiers, inverters, AC and DC choppers. Each student is expected to read the experiment document before coming to the experiment and to have the necessary theoretical background for the experiment. The test report regarding the test will be delivered on the next test time.
