Course Objectives
The aim of the course is,
1. To provide understanding of the basics of electrical systems to other engineering formations
2. To mention reflections of electrical engineering on non-electrical engineering disciplines
3. To give the theoretical and practical electric systems knowledge
4. To teach the concept of “Systems”
Course Description
Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering: Electric circuits, circuit components and laws, analytic solution techniques, alternative current circuits, multi-phase systems, and transient phenomena.
Electronic Circuits: Diodes, transistors, operational amplifiers, and digital electronics.
Electrical Machines: Transformers, induction machines, synchronous machines, direct current machines
Course Outcomes
Students who pass this course will be able to:
1. Comprehend electrical systems notions
2. Know fundamentals of electric system security and electric machinery security
3. Understand novel electronic concepts
4. Have ability to understand the issues on fundamental electric circuits during mainly non-electrical engineering projects
