Course Objectives
1. Students are introduced to Industrial Engineering (IE) and basic IE subjects. The main topics of the 4 year IE curriculum are presented as an introduction of theoretical and applied IE subjects.
2. The student familiarizes with the basic IE terminology.
3. the course aims to improve the students’ written and oral communication skills.
Course Description
Definition of Industrial Engineering (IE), the history and evolution of IE, Industrial revolutions, IE as a profession, basic IE terminology, basic IE tools, methods, and approaches.
