Course Objectives 1) To provide the definition, functions, sources of law and the sources of Turkish Law.
2) To provide the general framework and branches of Turkish law.
3) To provide the national and international legal procedures and remedies against unlawful acts.
Course Description The definition of law and the difference between legal rules and societal rules, the functions of law, the sources of law and the sources of Turkish Law, Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Law of Persons, Family Law, Law of Succession, Law of Property, Law of Obligations, Employment Law, Law of Civil Procedure, Criminal Law, International Law
Course Outcomes 1) will learn the definition of law and the difference between legal rules and societal rules,
2) will learn the functions of law,
3) will learn the sources of law and the sources of Turkish Law,
4) will learn the general framework and branches of Turkish law,
5) will learn the national and international legal procedures and remedies against unlawful acts,
6) will learn the rights and freedoms of the individuals, the obligations of the state and employers and will be well prepared for the life general and for the working life.
