Course Objectives

The extraordinary conditions created by the Covid-19 epidemic, have proven the importance of using resources efficiently in logistics systems. The aim of this basic course is to provide students with the basic competencies required for modeling and optimization of logistics systems that they will frequently use in specialization modules.

Course Description

Optimization with constraints: Linear Programming and Mixed Integer Programming, Solution Techniques, Sensitivity analysis.
Basic logistics problems: TSP, routing problems, pick-up and delivery problems,Basic heuristics for solutions. Robust Optimization Techniques
