Course Objectives 1. To provide a broad understanding of quality management concepts and methods,
2. To provide perspectives for integrating quality management systems to production processes,
3. To give the ability to design, run, and improve quality management systems.
Course Description Introduction to Quality Concepts; Quality Management Philosophies; Process Management and Its Tools; Six Sigma Program; Building and Sustaining Total Quality Organizations, Statistical Applications in Quality Control; Statistical Process Control; Sampling and Inspection; Reliability, Experimental Design
Course Outcomes 1. Assimilate quality management and control concepts in the context of historical development and their contribution to the firm,
2. Design quality management systems and adapting to the environment,
3. Have skills for preparing strategic quality plans,
4. Have skills for implementing statistical process control techniques,
5. Have skills to understand how organizational and individual behaviors affect quality management strategies,
6. Determine, analyze, and solve quality problems,
