Introduce Industrial Engineering as a science and as a profession. It is planned to let students understand objectives, scope and general approach of industrial engineering.
Course Outcomes
I.Have knowledge about industrial engineering and industrial engineering concepts.
II.Have knwledge about the history of industrial engineering.
III.Have knowledge about the working areas of industrial engineering.
IV.Have knowledge about the organization concept.
V.Have knowledge about the structure of organizational environment and internal structure oforganizations.
VI.Have knowledge about the performance concept and performance improvement.
VII.Have knowledge about the scientific approach in industrial engineering.
VIII.Have knowledge about the basic concepts and techniques in industrial engineering area(i.e. Operations Research, Production Planning, Facility Planning, Engineering Economicsand Quality Management).
