Course Objectives I. Systems and understanding system concept
II. Earning the ability to perceive an organization as a system
III. Defining the problems, analyzing the system, designing the new system, setting up the preparation phase of the new system and learning the application phase of the system
IV. Using simulation for the design and operation of complex processes or systems
Course Description Systems and system concepts; defining the problems, analyzing the system, designing the new system, setting up the preparation phase of the new system and application of the system.
Definition of system simulation. Basic concepts in simulation. Definitions of simulation study steps. Statistics and probability concepts used in simulation. Design of discrete systems simulation models
Course Outcomes Students who pass this course will be able to:
I. Analyze organizations with a systems approach using system concepts
II. Define the problems and analyze the system
III. Develop solution proposals in order to remove or mitigate the problems
IV. Build models and design the new system
V. Carry out implementation and operation of the designed system
VI. Simulate real systems
VII. Evaluate the elements in systems
VIII. Make necessary changes in systems when required
