Course Objectives This course provides insight into both descriptive and inferential statistics. The course will develop analytical thinking skills and preparation for further work in the scientific traditions and business that require the collection and statistical analysis of data. This course also emphasizes developing the ability to assess the probability of a simple random event, to interpret the result of a simple statistical study, and to solve mathematical problems with the use of technology.
