Course Objectives 1.To give legal perspective of negotiation of contracts, drafting and concluding of contracts, terms, performance and non-performance of contracts
2.To give an outline of types of contracts that are common in practice
3.To enable to apply given information to case studies
Course Description Concept of contract, offer and acceptance within the context of concluding contracts, standart terms in contracts, performance and non-performance of obligations arising from contracts, termination of contract and its effects and types of contract that are common in practice and case studies related to this are studied under this course.
Course Outcomes Students who successfully pass this course gain knowledge, skills and competency such as:
I. Identify the concepts and types of contracts
II. Identify the establishment and validity requirements of a contract.
III. Identify the sanction for the nullity of a contract.
IV. Identify the issues related to the consequences of the performance and non-performance of debt, the effect of non-performance on third parties
V. Identify the types of contracts in law of obligations.
