Course Objectives
The major objective of this introductory course is to provide a broad understanding of marketing methods and strategies. The students will be introduced basic concepts and principles of marketing and encouraged to acquire perspectives for creating innovative marketing strategies. Also, students will develop the ability to apply marketing concepts to several business situations and demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills by analyzing businesses are among the objectives of this course.
Course Description
The course will be taught via a blend of interactive lectures, group assignments, case discussions, and a term project. Students will be introduced to marketing principles and practices through in-class lecture and discussion, and will apply marketing concepts in class presentations. The course also involves substantial teamwork where students are expected to develop effective interactive skills and practice to present written reports.
