Course Objectives

1.To educate engineers who see the necessity of adopting developing planning techniques and will adopt these techniques.
2.To give an ability of planning to enable economic production.
3.To educate engineers who are aware of the importance of stock control and can do conscious applications.

Production Concept, Production Systems, Production Management and Production Planning Concept and Hierarchy, Demand Forecasting, Stock Control Systems, Aggregate Production Planning, Master Production Schedule, Materials Requirements Planning, Capacity Planning, Assembly Line Balancing, Production Scheduling.
