ISL 354E - Managerial Decision Making

Course Objectives

The aim of this course is,
1. to provide students practical techniques and decision support tools to help them to think clearly about objectives, attributes, alternatives, consequences,
2. to enable them to integrate judgments with other types of information in a logical and defensible manner.
3. to improve students' decision making skills, their ability to analyze problems systematically, and their confidence in their own decision making.

Course Description

Managerial Decision Making includes topics such as single person or group decision making under uncertainty and multi-criteria decision making. This course is designed to teach basic decision making tools which are essential for Management Engineering students. This course helps students to improve the quality of the decisions they make in managerial and personal decisions.
