END 331E - Operations Research I

Course Objectives

Learning the methodology and various techniques of operations research and finding optimal solutions to problems: Linear Programming, as well as Transportation, Transshipment, and Assignment problems will be introduced.

Course Description

-The modeling concepts in production and management
-Linear programming and Simplex algorithm
-The Big M and Two Phase Simplex Methods, Revised Simplex method
-Duality and economic analysis
-Transportation, Assignment, and Transshipment models and their solution methods
-Introduction to network models
