ECN 202E - Intermediate Macroeconomics

Course Objectives

The aim of this course is to build on foundational macroeconomic theory and develop students’ ability to engage with more advanced macroeconomic analysis. The course examines contemporary theoretical developments in areas such as labor markets and unemployment, economic growth, consumption and saving, investment, money and banking, business cycles, monetary and fiscal policy, and international macroeconomics.

Course Description

This course uses foundational macroeconomic theories to teach more advanced macroeconomic frameworks and examines recent developments in macroeconomic theory related to labor markets and unemployment, economic growth, consumption and saving, investment, money and banking, business cycles, monetary and fiscal policies, and international macroeconomics.
