Course Objectives
1.To provide basic principles of statics and dynamics,
2.To provide an ability to apply the principles of statics and dynamics on
engineering problems.
Course Description
Principles of statics, force vector, moment, equilibrium of particle and rigid
body, equilibrium of forces in plane and space, supports and support
reactions, structures, friction, center of gravity.
Principles of dynamics, kinematics and kinetics of particles, definition of the
problem in various coordinate systems, general motion, absolute and relative
motion, work and energy, impulse and momentum, impact
