Course Objectives
The main objectives of this course are as follows:
• To broaden students’ general knowledge about individual and group behaviors in the business life,
• To help students understand the antecedents and consequences of human perceptions, emotions, attitudes, and behaviors,
• To improve students’ abilities to recognize problems in human relations within organizations
Course Description
Organizational behavior (OB) is a field of study that investigates the impact that individuals, groups, and structure have on behavior within organizations for the purpose of applying such knowledge toward improving an organization’s effectiveness.
Course Outcomes
Those students who successfully pass this course are expected,
• To develop an understanding of how people behave at work.
• To develop an awareness about basic concepts pertaining to organizational life such as diversity, stress, culture, motivation, etc.
• To explore their own personal and behavioral traits and face with their stereotypes
• To recognize work related social and behavioral problems and improve relations with colleagues
• To develop better feelings and attitudes towards the workplace
