Course Objectives 1. To teach how to plan a business starting from the phase of thought till the phase of business generation,
2. To teach how to select the business areas that an organization will enter,
3. To teach evaluation approaches to enter a business area.
Course Description Introduction, scanning environment and market, identify niche, pricing policy, sales forecasting, marketing strategy, expenditure forecast, capital expenditure, profit forecast, forecast cash flow, funding review.
Course Outcomes Students who pass the course will be able to:
I. Evaluate business and its environment,
II. Define alternative business area,
III. Define business segments and marketing strategies,
IV. Develop pricing strategies,
V. Define capital needs,
VI. Define expenditure,
VII. Select funding methods,
VIII. Make evaluations of business plan.
