ISL 374E - Engineering Design I

Course Objectives

The main objective of the course is to teach students the fundamentals of engineering design and the product development process. This course will focus on consumer needs analysis, related conceptual design methods and applying them in a comprehensive course project. Students will learn how to design customer-focused products, fundamentals of product development and experiencing this in a team-based working environment.

Engineering Design: A journey from collecting customer needs to new ideas, better concepts, product specifications and a functional prototype.
