Course Objectives
I. To educate engineers who know basic concepts of database and database management systems
II. To give an ability of designing several types of databases
III. To educate engineers who are aware of the importance of database management systems in the context of industrial engineering programme
Course Description
To educate engineers who know basic concepts of database and database management systems. To give an ability of designing several types of databases. To educate engineers who are aware of the importance of database management systems in the context of industrial engineering program.
Course Outcomes
I. Obtain data structure from the events
II. Design a database structure
III. Do data modeling
IV. Do basic data management operations
V. Manage a database by using SQL
VI. Use MS-Access software
VII. Introduce advanced database management operations
VIII. Have basic knowledge about sorting algorithms
