ISL 452 - Securities and Portfolio Management

Course Objectives

This course intends to give basic knowledge about financial markets, securities and portfolio management.

Course Description

Attendance is compulsory and active class participation is required. Timely reading, internet search and doing homework are key for success.. There will be quizzes. During the semestre, students will manage a portfolio in a team (PMG). Selected teams will also present their portfolios.

Exams
Midterm (30%), final exam (40%), PMG (20%) and HW and quizzes (10%) will constitute the grade. Exams are closed-book. Calculators will be needed.
