Course Objectives
This course is intended to provide an overview of the interdisciplinary field of ergonomics. Attention is devoted to provide the students with an in-depth understanding of the underlying principles of this discipline, ergonomics considerations in design/redesign, and research basis of ergonomics.
Course Description
Ergonomics is the scientific discipline concerned with the understanding of interactions among humans and other elements of a system, and the profession that applies theory, principles, data and methods to design in order to optimize human well-being and overall system performance.
