Course Objectives The main objectives of this course are as follows:
1. To broaden students’ general knowledge about how to manage organizational resources,
2. To help students understand the fundamental functions of management, i.e. planning, organizing, leading, and controlling,
3. To improve students’ analytical skills related to managerial decision making
4. To improve students’ awareness about the contemporary challenges managers face.

Course Outcomes Student, who passed the course satisfactorily can:
CLO1. Identify management processes of organizations, especially, in the context of technology based environments.
CLO2. Define and compare management and manager concepts, management processes.
CLO3. Identify the evolution of management process and modern management issues.
CLO4. Analyse the processes of effective resource planning, identifying organizational vision and mission and establishing a business plan.
CLO5. Determine decision making steps under the pressure of uncertain conditions.
CLO6. Identify the motives that effect resource distribution; explain the factors that shape the organizational structures.
CLO7. Understand and compare the managerial competencies that motivate and lead organization members toward organizational goals, resolve intra-organizational conflicts.
CLO8. Measure and evaluate the organizational goals and current outcomes.
