ISL 462E - Turkish Economy

Course Objectives

This course aims to
1. To provide the students the knowledge of Turkish economic history in the light of economic policies applied.
2. To found the awareness of the structural problems of the Turkish economy.
3. To establish the necessary knowledge in order the current economic cycles to be understood and analyzed.

Course Description

This course prepares the student to understand the economic structure of the Turkey and its place in the world economy, to interpret common economic measures, to understand the processes of governmental fiscal and monetary policies, and to evaluate individual decision-making from an economic perspective.
