Course Objectives
1. To teach the fundamentals of electronic systems.
2. To teach electronic circuit components and testing measurement.
3. To teach electronic systems and devices on marine engines.
Course Description
Fundamentals of electronics. Circuit theory. Semiconductors. Diodes and diode circuits. Transistors; BJT and FET. Switching and amplification circuits with transistor. Digital electronics. Power electronics. Testing of electronic components. Measurement instruments. Applications on marine engines and systems(switching, amplifier, measurements and fault diagnosis).
Course Outcomes
Students who pass the course will be able to;
I.Learn about fundamentals and components of electronics.
II.Learn about working principles and testing of electronic lines.
III.Learn about electronic systems on marine engines.
IV.Understand and solve about marine electronic problems on marine engines.
