Course Objectives		1. To promote marine communication practical background: 2. To teach distress, urgency and safety communications. 3. To gain responsibility of the keepping radio watch on a ship radio station.
Course Description		Distress, urgency, safety and routine communication exercises utilizing GMDSS simulator and actual radio equipment. Radiotelephony communication and SMCP exercises. SAR operations. Ship radio station watchkeeping procedure exercises. International code of signal exercises.
