GUV 111 - Inroduction to Navigation

Course Objectives

To teach to the students of the Maritime Faculty, who will work onboard merchant vessels after their graduation, as ocean-going deck officer, chief officer and master, navigation knowledge, according to the STCW ‘78 Convention and STCW Code (as amended).

Course Description

The Course of "Inroduction to Navigation" is 70 hours (14 x 5), one semester course which includes all necessary instructions according to the course objectives.
