Course Objectives
To teach to the Maritime Faculty's students, who will work onboard merchant vessels, as ocean-going deck officer, chief officer and master after their graduations, vessels’ manoeuvring characteristics, ship handling and manoeuvring, according to the STCW ‘78 Convention and STCW Code (as amended).
Course Description
Ship Handling and Manoeuvring Course is 28 hours (14 x 2), one semester course which includes all necessary instructions according to the course objectives.
