Course Objectives		1. To teach the basic law. 2. To teach the Maritime Law and their details. 3. To introduce the International Maritime Conventions and teach their details.
Course Description		Basic law information. Definition and divisions of Maritime Law. Maritime Law. Shipping Trade contracts. Maritime accidents. Maritime Labour Law and Social Security Law.
Course Outcomes		Students who pass the course will be able to; I. To learn the main terms of the basic law. II. To learn the main sources and subjects of Maritime Law. III. To learn the subjects of Maritime Labour Law. IV. To understand the International Maritime Conventions and match with relevant Turkish Law Rules.
