Course Objectives
1. To give knowledge about classification societies and surveying procedures.
2. To teach ship’s certificates and following.
3. To teach survey, survey preparations and carried out surveys.
4. To teachabout inspections by port state and flag state.
Course Description
Classification societies. Certificates to be carried on board ships. Annual, intermediate and special surveys. Survey preparations.Flag state andport state control. Corrective action of nonconformity. Record the oil and garbage record book.

Students who pass the course will be able to;
