Course Objectives		1. To teach the fundamentals of electrical systems and electrical equipment. 2. To teach DC circuits and circuit analysis. 3. To teach fundamentals of AC Circuits. 4. To teach electrical systems and devices on board ships
Course Description		Electrical safety rules and equipment. Electrical circuit components. Star-Delta transformations.DC circuit theory. AC circuit theory; single-phase AC, three-phase AC. Functional, operational and safety requirements of ship high voltage systems. Ship electrical distribution systems and grounding systems.
