Welded, soldered, adhesive, and riveted connections. Shaft-hub connections. Screw mechanisms and bolt connections. Mechanical springs. Gears. Shafts, axles, couplings, and clutches. Friction, wear, lubricants, lubrication theory, sliding and rolling bearings.
