Course Description Course is designed to introduce manufacturing equipment used in machining, forming, casting and welding processes, hands-onpractice on various manufacturing processes and equipment. Course Outcomes 1. To provide the application of machining tools
2. To give an ability to learn casting technology
3. To give an ability to learn welding technology
4. In shop-floor to give an ability to read with mechanical measurement equipment
5. To give an ability to create technical drawings from real mechanical part.
6.To practice of project work, to develop the creative and intellectual abilities, to get experience and to produce prototypes by working within a team.
Pre-requisite(s) nothing
Required Facilities A team (usually 3/4 students) project will be planned and executed.
Several alternatives will be given as a starting point, but the students need
to develop further ideas and solutions for manufacturing of different
shapes
Other Each station, jobs are assigned and to be handed in at the end of the stations.
They are checked and marked.
