Course Objectives
1. Learning by application of the logical steps of experimental work: conceptualization, planning, application, data collection, processing, evaluation, presentation
2. Developing the ability to work in a team.
3. Learning working, calibration and usage principles of basic measuring equipment.
4. Understanding and applying the concepts of sensitivity, resolution, error, uncertainty, precision and accuracy in experimental measurements.
Course Description
Basic concepts about measurement. Dynamic analysis of measurement. Uncertainty and statistical analysis of experimental data. Basic electrical measurements and sensors. Data collection and processing. Methods and sensors for measurement of size, area, pressure, flow, temperature, heat, force, strain and vibration.
