Course Objectives The objective is to educate students on the significance of the responsibilities associated with the tasks they will undertake in their professional lives following graduation. Additionally, it is to cultivate the capacity to define engineering problems that may arise in social contexts, to evaluate and resolve them within an ethical framework, to impart the fundamental concepts of ethics, professional ethics and engineering ethics, and to engage in constructive discourse on engineering problems in order to gain a comprehensive understanding of universal engineering and scientific ethics.
Course Description The course will address the following key areas:
1. The concept of ethics and the relationship between ethics and morality
2. Professional ethics, engineering ethics and responsibility issues
3. The development of engineering ethics and education
Course Outcomes Students who complete this course:
-Learning ethical responsibilities and principles of professional ethics
-Understanding of engineering ethics and its applications in engineering,
-Gains the ability to comprehend and evaluate professional responsibility on examples.
