Course Objectives
1. Teaching fundamentals of artificial intelligence
2. Give information on classic and modern artificial intelligence methods
3. Give information on mechanical engineering application areas of artificial intelligence
4. To teach AI tools/libraries, and to spread the usage of AI for engineering problems
Course Description
Fundamentals of artificial intelligence and its applications and tools
Course Outcomes
Student, who passed the course satisfactorily can:
1. To have knowledge about theoretical foundations of artificial intelligence
2. To have theoretical and practical knowledge about classical AI methods
3. To have knowledge about modern AI methods such as deep learning and deep reinforcement learning
4. To have knowledge about AI applications such as computer vision, time series analysis and decision making under uncertainty
5. Apply machine learning algorithms to engineering problems.
6. To gain artificial intelligence practice and learn to use existing artificial intelligence tools
