MAK 299 - Workshop: Electromechanical Systems

Course Objectives

To provide students with the skills of electromechanical system design and installation. To gain experience in designing electronic circuits for measuring, controlling and driving purposes on a mechanical system that they will design. To introduce electronic circuit elements and to gain experience in circuit design and selection of circuit elements.

Course Description

In order to provide students with experience in electromechanical system design and installation, control and driver circuits will be designed and installed in the workshop, using electronic application platforms such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Spark Fun, starting from the simplest applications and continuing with more complex ones requiring code software development.
