Course Objectives

1. To give the ability to write and read technical drawings
2. To provide the applications of dimensioning,
3. To give the ability to draw standard machine elements,
4. To give the ability to draw in a computer environment.

Course Description

Introduction to technical drawing and lettering, geometric constructions, projection principles, sectional and multiview drawings, AutoCAD basics (menus, coordinates, layers, lines, colors, hatching, text, dimensioning, references, tools), printing, 2D/3D drawings.
