Course Objectives
1. To provide the application of machining tools
2. To give an ability to learn casting technology
3. To give an ability to learn welding technology
4. In shop-floor to give an ability to read with mechanical measurement equipment
5. To give an ability to create technical drawings from real mechanical part.
Course Description
Manufacturing equipment used in machining, , casting and welding processes, hands-on
practice on various manufacturing processes and equipment, manual and computer
technical drawing practice.
Course Outcomes
Student who passed the course satisfactorily can:
1. Use the conventional machining tool (b,d)
2. Do the different welding methods (b,d)
3. Manufacture the component with casting (b,d)
4. Use and read the mechanical measurement equipment. (b,d)
